Director Patient Safety (Inverness, FL)

Shift: Full Time-M/F (8 Hour Days)-No Weekends

Other key services include the Cardiovascular Surgery with TAVR, Women & Baby Center and Orthopedic and Spine Center of Excellence.
Provides leadership and direction in developing a culture of safety and in identifying opportunities and initiatives to enhance patient safety. The Director develops strategic and operational plans to build prospective, proactive, loss prevention and harm reduction patient safety program.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business or related field
Three to five years relevant experience in patient safety, risk and/or quality; Experience with electronic health records and reporting system preferred
Previous Patient Safety Director accepted job opportunity with outside company
CPPS (Certification in Patient Safety) (within one year of hire); CPHRM (within one year of hire)
Type of culture (management style) of director or on the floor: Fast paced, full management of patient safety program, metrics driven. Candidate must be high-energy and passionate about this area of healthcare.
MUST HAVE Five (5) years relevant experience in patient safety, risk and/or quality in hospital setting
Will accept strong manager
RN is not required, but preferred.
Salary Range: Low $79,400 – Mid $99,100 - Max $118,000 (Based upon years of experience)
Relocation Assistance: $10k on a Case by Case basis for applicants outside of the area
