The Director of Wound Care provides leadership of the Wound Care Management function, clinical services and programs. Ensures the selection, retention, and assignment of competent workforce to ensure effective delivery of departmental services. Demonstrates accountability for clinical practice, services and administrative activities including fiscal, material and human resource management. Maintains and monitors utilization of resources ,physical space, equipment, department protocols, standards, policies, equipment, and practices.
The hospital is a Top 100 Hospitals – 2019 IBM Watson Health featuring separate adult, pediatric and behavioral health ER programs on its main campus and three offsite freestanding ERs to meet the needs of the many communities it serves.
Specialty programs include a Women’s Center with Level III NICU; pediatrics and PICU; Heart and Vascular Center; Behavioral Health; Florida Bariatrics Centers; Neuroscience, Orthopedics and Spine centers. The hospital is an accredited Advanced Primary Stroke Center; Bariatric Center of Excellence (ASMBS) and Center of Excellence for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery by the Surgical Review Corporation; Echocardiography Lab accredited (ICAEL), and has earned several Joint Commission disease specific certifications including AMI, CABG, Heart Failure, Hip, Hip Fracture, Knee, Sepsis and Stroke.

Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare related field.
At least five years of experience in a healthcare setting. Previous wound care experience.
Will help develop growing wound care program
Shift: M-F 8 hour days
FTEs: 5 Wound Care RN’s, more staff to be added after candidate is hired
Must have Bachelor’s Degree and Florida (RN) Nursing License
MUST BE A RN
At least 5 years of experience in healthcare with a background in wound care based leadership
Must have FL RN license or appropriate compact licensure
They need to have established leaders/directors that come from the short term acute hospital setting
Reports to: Chief Medical Officer
Compensation: Midpoint $95k – Max $115 up to 15% incentive bonuses
Relo: up to $10k relo bonus
Sign on: case by case
