Director (RN) of Cardiovascular Services -Houston, TX
Shift: Full Time-Days (Rotating Weekends)
The Healthcare Facility is a 426-bed facility located in Houston, Texas. The hospital opened its doors in 1973 and has since become one of the most comprehensive medical facilities in the area.
The Facility has earned numerous awards and accreditations in the areas of Quality Care, Bariatric Surgery, Breast Care, and Heart and Vascular Care. Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) services are provided in four fully equipped CCL Suites and Cardiac Cath Lab Recovery (CCL-RR) by and under the direction of cardiologists and radiologists credentialed to perform diagnostic and/or interventional cardiovascular, electrophysiology, and radiology procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Facilitates the integration and teamwork of all cardiovascular departments for optimal care of patients.
Works in conjunction with the facility administrative staff and the Cardiovascular Services Medical Director to ensure the highest level of care for patients, and ensure that all services provided meet all regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Works with physicians to adopt and incorporate quality initiatives, understand economic considerations, and increase physician/hospital alignment.

Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, Master’s degree preferred (MSN, MBA, MHA)

Experience:
5-10 years recent clinical experience in cardiovascular care preferred
3 years recent experience in a nursing leadership position

Licensure:
Current RN licensure by Texas Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

Salary Range: $43.68 (5 years experience) $54.60 (5-10 years experience) $65.52 (10+ years experience)
