This Healthcare site encompasses the Medical Center, a 236-bed facility located in the heart of Ocala, and West Marion Community Hospital, a 174-bed hospital located in west Marion County, and Summerfield ER, a freestanding emergency department located in southern Marion County. The Healthcare site has the only Commission on Cancer approved cancer center in Marion County. The hospitals offer a host of other quality and award winning services including bariatric surgery, orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac and vascular services including open heart surgery and interventional procedures, emergency, neurological and rehabilitation services. This Regional Medical Center is also a Level II Trauma Center. The Health’s outpatient facilities include Family Care Specialists, a primary care network of six locations throughout Marion County; Advanced Imaging Centers with two locations; a freestanding Wound and Hyperbaric Center; a Senior Wellness Community Center; and two surgical and physician specialty practices.

Performs those duties directly involved with the completion of all requested procedures of the Imaging Department with regards to Quality and Quantity, providing services to all inpatients and outpatients of all age groups. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff. May be required to work at this Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department.

Required: Vocational or 2 year Associates Degree required
Preferred: 4 year Bachelor Degree preferred
License / Certification:
Required: BLS, Registerd CT Tech (ARRT), State Registered Radiology Tech or Registered CT Tech
Required: Less than 1 year of imaging experience required
Preferred: 1-3 years of imaging experience preferred
· Shifts: Nights at FSED, Nights at HOS, Days at HOS, Weekends Only at FSED
Evening shift hours are defined as 3pm – 11pm. Applies to 8 hour shifts only.
For scheduled shifts of twelve (12) hours or more: Night shift hours are defined as 7pm – 7am.
For scheduled shifts of less than twelve (12) hours: Night shift hours are defined as 11pm – 7am.
Weekend Shift hours are defined as Friday 11p.m. to Sunday 11p.m.
· Must have experience – Can be a new grad from CT. Will cross train the right person from Radiographer to be a CT Tech.
On call YES - On call pay: $4
